Archie W. Miller

Archie W. Miller, 75, of Beech Creek, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his residence.

Born July 13, 1944 in Lock Haven a son of the late John H. and Helen M. (Streck) Miller.

He was married March 8, 1969 to the former Patricia A. Matter. They celebrated 50 years of marriage.

He worked for Hammermill, Claster’s Building Materials in State College and retired from Penn State University in the maintenance department.

He was a member of the American Legion, Beech Creek and served in the National Guard.

Archie enjoyed hunting, NASCAR, word puzzles and spending time at his camp on Beech Creek Mountain with his family and friends. He was a Pittsburg Pirates fan.

Surviving are his loving wife, two sons, Michael (Paula) Miller of Blanchard and John Miller of Beech Creek.

Two granddaughters, Chelsie and her fiancé Troy Smith and Lauren.

Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
