Carol J. (Cox) Houtz

Carol J. (Cox) Houtz, 79, of Chester Street, Williamsport and a former resident of Lock Haven died Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at her residence.

Born June 28, 1938 in Lock Haven a daughter of the late Harold L. and Edna E. (Powers) Cox.

Carol was married to Howard L. Houtz, Sr. who died March 3, 1985.

She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Williamsport.

Carol enjoyed knitting, crocheting and artwork.

Surviving are two sons; Donald W. (Traci) Houtz of Lamar and Walter Lee and his fiancé Melissa of Williamsport also two daughters; Carol C. Houtz of Renovo and Rose A. (Arthur) McKee of Williamsport.

Sixteen grandchildren, Jennifer, Michael, Amanda, Ryan, Amos, Lindsey, Kyle, Brennan, Briar, Rain, Meisha, Lisa, Teresa, Evan, Jesse and Jenny also several great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Carol was preceded in death by a son Howard L. Houtz, Jr.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
