Charlotte Betty Good

Charlotte Betty Good, 96, formerly of Berwick, Pennsylvania, passed away at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab, Caseyville, Illinois, on June 30, 2021.

Betty was born January 29, 1925, in Berwick, Pennsylvania, to Woodin and Le Anna (Grassley) Hosler. She married Clifford E. Good in 1958 and have celebrated 63 years together.

Betty was a former longtime member of the Dunnstown United Methodist Church.  While living in Illinois, she was attending the First Baptist Church of O’Fallon.  She had a love of knitting and making sweaters; she enjoyed cooking and was a wonderful baker.  Many people have enjoyed her baked goods throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Stephen Ulmer; one sister; one brother; and grand-daughter, Jeannie Boehme.

Survivors include her husband, Clifford Good of Collinsville, Illinois; daughter, Sonja Fox of Collinsville, Illinois; 2 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., in Mill Hall with Rev. Jay Saldana officiating. There will be an hour of viewing prior to the service at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. A graveside service will beat 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Pine Grove Cemetery Annex off of Walnut St. in Berwick, Pennsylvania.
