Edwin L. Welch

Edwin L. Welch, Jr., 67, of Mill Hall left this earth on Friday, May 29, 2020 at HCR Manor Care, Williamsport where he was a patient one week.

Born August 9, 1952 in Jersey Shore he was a son of the late Edwin L. and Dora L. “Honey” (Hafer) Welch.

On February 13, 1971 he married the former Judy K. Smith. They celebrated 49 years of marriage together.

He worked as a mechanic at Brodart in McElhattan for several years. He enjoyed camping and hunting.

Surviving are his loving wife, four children Edwin Welch, III of Mill Hall, Michelle Welch of Mill Hall, Jennifer (Chris) Roan of Blanchard and Jamie (Samantha) Welch of Mill Hall.

Two grandchildren, Michaela Roan and Dylan Roan.

He is also survived by four brothers, Bill of Lock Haven, Dennis of Mill Hall, Rick of Florida and Danny of Avis. Also, three sisters, Diana Parrett of Loganton, Rose Sellers of Salladasburg and Stella “Star” Poorman of Mill Hall.

Services and interment will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.

Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
