Edwin Lamont Welch

LOCK HAVEN - Edwin Lamont Welch, 86, of Little Plum Run Road died Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at UPMC, Susquehanna Williamsport where he was a patient for one week.

Born March 24, 1932 in Lock Haven a son of the late Hendrick A. and Dora (Merile) Welch.

He retired from Jersey Shore Steel after several years.

Edwin was married on June 16, 1951 to the former Dora Lois “Honey” Haffer. She preceded him in death on March 5, 2000.

Surviving are five sons, Edwin “Butch” Welch of Mill Hall, William Welch of Lock Haven, Dennis Welch of Mill Hall, Richard Welch of Florida and Daniel Welch of Lock Haven and three daughters, Diana Parrett of Loganton, Rose Sellers of Salladasburg and Stella “Star” Poorman of Mill Hall. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.

Memorial contributions can be made in his memory to a charity of your choice.

Interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
