Glenn L. Brungard, 76, of Flemington passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side.
Born September 8, 1943 in Lock Haven he was the son of the late Glenn Allen and Electa M. (Embick) Brungard.
Glenn was married to Beulah I. Harbach who died in 1997 and then married Freida M. Ruggiers Brungard March 7, 2015. They celebrated 5 years of marriage together.
Glenn worked for Corning Glass from 1967-2001 and then Kline’s Auto Sales as a salesman from 2004 to 2014.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was a former member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Booneville.
Glenn enjoyed baseball, wrestling, hunting, fishing, and was a Dallas Cowboy’s Fan. He was a 1961 graduate of Sugar Valley High School.
Surviving are his loving wife, a son Glenn Brungard and a step-son Michael Toner both of Lock Haven and two daughters, Robin (Ron) Kuhlman of Spring Mills, Brooke Brungard of Lock Haven and a step-daughter Nariah Catherman of Lock Haven. Eight Grandchildren and one great grandson.
Two brothers, Thomas (Mary) Brungard of York and Kenneth (Carol) Brungard of Loganton and a sister Belva (Jim) Bower of Loganton. He is survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson Devin Stacey in 2013.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2020 at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall with Pastor Kenneth Geisewite officiating.
Friends and relatives will be received one hour prior to the service.
Burial will follow with military honors at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Booneville.
