James L. Brininger

James Brininger, 75, of Howard, passed away on March 5, 2025, at Geisinger Medical Center.

James was born on October 5, 1949 to the late Edgar and Erma (Stahl) Brininger.

James married to the former Connie Coder who went on to become the love of his life for 58 years. She proceeded him in death on January 22, 2025.

James was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Children are William (Cindy) Brininger of Snydertown, James (Carol) Brininger of Florida, Wayne Brininger of Lamar, and Phillip (Lori) Brininger of Clearfield.

Grand children are Danielle, Kinberlee, Ryan, Andrew, Nicholas, Willy, Tyler and one very special great granddaughter Luna which whom he loved to spend time with. Sibling are Joyce Long, Arlene Sager, Shirley Sampsel, Deb (George) Fultz, Sarah (Robert) Lewis, Sheila (Ross) Weaver, Bard (Tom) Carson, Paul Brininger, Tom Brininger and Sister-in-law Nancy Brininger.

There will be no services at this time.

A life celebration for both James and Connie will be held at the Nittany Valley Fire Hall, on June 28t, 2025 starting at 3pm. A meal will be provided. Please come out and bring memories and photos to share.
