Jason John Killinger, 46, of Beech Creek went to be with The Lord on Sunday, March 14, 2021 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. He will be remembered for his bright smile and his heart of gold.
Born May 5, 1974 in Lock Haven, he was the son of John D. and Lynda L. (Sorgen) Killinger of Beech Creek. He worked at various locations, including Avis America where he was a builder and Roy Struble Trucking Inc. where he was a truck driver.
Jason was a true ‘Tinkerer’ that could build anything. He loved hanging out in his garage, motorcycles, and adored horses, especially his horse, Wildfire. Most important to him were his family, friends and long mountain rides.
In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by one daughter, Rexine M. (Mitchell) Schrum of Howard; four sons, Ethan J. (Hayley) Killinger of Beech Creek, Dallas A. (Jullisa) Donahay of Mill Hall, Zachary W. (Alyssa) Donahay of Beech Creek, and Damion A. (Melissa) Gingery of Lock Haven; five grandchildren whom he adored, Alaira, Briyar, Dawson, Jaxson, and Isabella; one brother, Caleb L. (Lindsay) Killinger of Beech Creek, a nephew and niece, Jonathon and Mialynn; paternal grandmother, Shirley Killinger of Beech Creek, his girlfriend, Stephanie Saxon of Beech Creek and her daughters, Alyssa, Janae and Trinity; his cousin and best-friend, Buck; and his beloved dog, Storm. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Killinger; maternal grandparents, Lynn and Glady (Hull) Sorgen; and his ‘brother from another mother’, Travis.
A viewing for friends and family will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd. in Mill Hall.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.
