Lee L. Merrill, 88, of Loganton, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born May 10, 1931 in Woolrich he was a son of the late Lemuel and Ellen (Rhinehart) Merrill.

Lee was married to the former Doris E. Holdren on March 14, 1953. They celebrated 67 years of marriage together.

He worked for Alcan Cable as an electrician. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and trips to Alaska and Canada.

Surviving are his loving wife, two sons Arthur L. (Terri) Merrill and Jerry (Gail) Merrill both of Loganton; also eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Lee is survived by a sister, Elda Mae Holdren of Loganton.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard; and a sister, Betty Merrill.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 17, 2020 at the Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren, 2305 E. Winter Road, Loganton with Pastor Kenneth Guisewite officiating.

Friends and relatives will be received at the church one-hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society (Clinton Unit) 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA  17701.
