Lynette J. (White) DeLaney

South Renovo

Lynette June DeLaney, 64, of South Renovo passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Born April 18, 1957 in Waukegan, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Leo F. and Patsy I. (Wendricks) White.

She enjoyed working for Step, Inc. in Lock Haven where she was a social worker for over 30 years. She was a valued member of her community who was known for her selfless nature which allowed others to feel loved and cared for in her presence.

Her family and friends, whom she loved to spend time with, will remember her as a talented singer, artist, and poet.

Lynette is survived by her two children, Michelle L. (Jordan Goff) DeLaney of Vassalboro, ME, and Daniel L. (Carlee) DeLaney of Renovo; seven grandchildren, Kaydence Winkelman, Ava Goff, Layton DeLaney, Danica Goff, Elaina DeLaney, Emily DeLaney, and Andrew Goff; nine siblings, Janice (Gene) Bach, Mike (Sharon) White, Gordon (Jeannette) White, Dennis White,  Loralee (Charlie) Norris, Leigh (Lisa) White, Patricia Lewis, Connie (David) Imler, and Shawn White; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Robert White.

A visitation for friends and family will be from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 5th Street, in Renovo. A celebration of life service will directly follow at 4 p.m. with Lynette’s sister, Connie Imler, officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Renovo Food Bank, through the Renovo Council of Churches, P.O. Box 206, Renovo, PA 17764.
