Margaret L. (Gramley) Fulger

LOCK HAVEN- Margaret L. “Peg” Fulger, 92, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Haven Skilled Rehabilitation and Nursing in Lock Haven. She was the wife of the late Robert E. Fulger, who passed away February 23, 1973. The couple married in 1949 and shared almost 25 years of marriage together.

Born November 20, 1927 in Lock Haven she was the daughter of William J. and Margaret E. (Maughmer) Gramley. She was a member of the United Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lock Haven.

Peg held various jobs throughout her life including; J.J. Newberry, the Silk Mill, Sylvania, and Bentley Dining Hall. After 27 years she retired from Ames where she was the jewelry department manager.

Family meant the world to Peg, and she loved attending her grandchildren’s events. Football was her passion, especially cheering on Penn State. She also loved word search puzzles and playing cards.

Peg is survived by her son, Michael A. (Julie) Fulger of Clifton Park, NY; two daughters, Jean M. (Larry) McKeague of Mill Hall, and Sandra K. Fulger (wife of the late Ralph Jr.) Manno of Mill Hall; six grandchildren, Michelle Miller, Brian Winter, Matthew Manno, Emily Carpenter, Jesse Fulger, and Jonah Fulger; and five great-grandchildren. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Tammi Lyn Fulger; two brothers; and 12 sisters.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, at West Church and First Streets, in Lock Haven with Pastor Karl Runser officiating. Friends and relatives will be received at the church from 2:00-4:00 p.m. prior to the service. Private burial will be at Dunnstown Cemetery. Helt Funeral Chapel, Inc., 232 Hogan Blvd., in Mill Hall is in charge of arrangements.
