Mary Lee (Kramer) Wetzel, 76, of Mill Hall passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Irvin K. Wetzel who passed away August 6, 2014. The couple were married on August 23, 1963 and celebrated over 50 years of marriage together.
Born August 9, 1945, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur H. and Nora E. (Dullen) Kramer. Mary worked for over 20 years at the former Champion Parts until her retirement.
Mary loved playing lottery tickets, pow wows, books, puzzles, shopping on QVC, floating in her pool, yard sales, and going to the Amish store. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by one son, Scot A. (Kimberly) Wetzel of Mill Hall; two daughters, Amy J. (Craig) Yarnell of Lock Haven, and Nicole L. (Glenn, Sr.) Neff of Mill Hall; five grandchildren, Kevin (Mandy) Connelley, Glenn Neff, Jr., Megan Rupert, Bradley Rupert, and Morgan Wetzel; three great grandchildren, Cameron Neff, Ian Neff, and Sawyer Yarnell; and five sisters, Sharon (Boyd) Wetzel, Nora Mae (Leonard) Carr, Nancy D’Ercole, Peggy (Charles) Styers, and Fay (Bruce) Hill. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, she was preceded in death by one great grandson, Remington Connelley; and two brothers, Malcolm Kramer and Wilbur Kramer.
A celebration of life funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday, January 16, 2022 at Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd, in Mill Hall. A viewing for friends and family will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Lamar Twp.
