Paul E. “Nonny Goody” Goodman, Jr., 77, of Lock Haven passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020 at his residence.
Born October 20, 1943 in Lock Haven he was a son of the late Paul E. Goodman, Sr. and Mary Rosella (White) Goodman.
He was a self-employed painter from 1980 to 2004 doing indoor and outdoor painting until his health prevented it.
Paul served in the Army during the Vietnam Era in Germany from May 10, 1968 to May 8, 1970.
He enjoyed spending time with family and always remained close to his loved ones. He enjoyed reading the newspaper, telling stories of the past and remembered everything and everyone. He had many friends and tried to help anyone who needed a helping hand. He was always “happy go lucky” and liked to laugh and have a good time.
Paul also enjoyed playing poker and trips to the casino. In his younger days he enjoyed shooting pool, darts, social clubs and board games.
Surviving are a son, Fritz Spencer of Lock Haven and three daughters, Reba Cummings of Lock Haven, Kelly Bassett Hanley of Lock Haven and Sarah Motter of State College. Eight grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews that he was close to.
He is survived by three half-sisters, Marsha Quick, Paula McMann and Tina Hockenberry and a half-brother Isaac Goodman all of Lock Haven.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Delores Miller and Gloria Harkey.
Funeral services will be private with burial at St. John’s Cemetery, Dunnstable Twp.
Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
