Robert Smith, Jr.

Robert “Sput” Smith, Jr., of Williamsport passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born March 13, 1971 in Philadelphia he was a son of Aaron Jones, Sr. of Philadelphia and the late Vera (Garfield) Dobson.

He was married on March 12, 2010 to the former Angela S. Gill. They celebrated 12 years of marriage together.

Robert worked for ADS in Muncy. He enjoyed spending time with his family and having cookouts with family and friends.

Robert enjoyed fishing with his father playing softball and boxing. He was an avid Penn State and NY Giants football fan.

Surviving are his father of Philadelphia and his loving wife, along with two sons, Robert, II and Tyrell. Two Step-sons Vincent and Ty. One daughter, Ashlee and a step-daughter Jordan. Seven grandchildren and two expected grandchildren.

He is survived by two brothers, Allen Garfield of Philadelphia and Aaron Jones, Jr. of Mill Hall also three sisters Chante Roberson, TA Jones and Mahogany Jones all of Philadelphia. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
