Rollie M. Shadle, Jr., 55, of McElhatten passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his residence with his family by his side.
Born June 18, 1965 in Jersey Shore he was the son of the late Rollie M. Shadle, Sr. and Audrey (Merryman) Shadle of McElhatten who survives.
He worked as a block layer for Riggle Masonry in Lock Haven a job that he loved so much.
Rollie was a 1983 graduate of Lock Haven High School. He enjoyed motorcycles, hunting, telling jokes with his family and friends, heavy metal concerts, and was a L.A. Raiders football fan.
He served in the Marines from 1984-1986 and was stationed at Camp Lejuene.
Surviving are his loving mother, three sisters, Jody (Steve) Meredith, Cindy Shadle, Bobbie Jo Shadle all of Lock Haven. He is survived by two Uncles, Charles Shadle of Dunnstown and Glenn (Nancy) Shadle of Rauchtown, a special Aunt and Uncle Marie and Butch Bowmaster of McElhatten. Also surviving are a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, a brother Daniel, Aunt Cathy Bennett, three nephews, Caleb Pettingill, Shawn Meredith and Steven Meredith, Jr.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the McElhatten Community Park, McElhatten on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Laura King officiating.
The family will provide the flowers. Contributions can be made to the Helt Funeral Chapel to assist the family with final expenses.
Helt Funeral Chapel, Mill Hall has charge of arrangements.
