Theresa A. Lane, 76, of Renovo passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Bucktail Medical Center in S. Renovo.

Born June 9, 1943 she was the daughter of the late John C. and Jean S. (McFarland) Lane. Theresa graduated from St. Joseph High School in 1961 and was a lifelong member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Renovo.

Theresa held several jobs throughout her life including being a licensed cosmetologist, Bobbie Brooks, and Hope Enterprises where she loved taking care of the children. She always treasured her trip to Ireland.

She will be remembered for her love of cats and her philanthropy, donating to several organizations throughout the world.

Theresa is survived by her sister-in-law, Pat Lane of Lonoke, AR, and several nieces. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, John “Jack” Lane, and David Lane; and one sister, Esther Lane.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 925 Huron Ave., in Renovo with Rev. Father Joseph Orr as celebrant. The Mass can be viewed at Maxwell Funeral Home’s Facebook page or at https://tinyurl.com/Theresa-Lane. Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 5th St., in Renovo is in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Hyner.
