William G. “Bucky” Price, 89, of Farewell passed away on Tuesday August 11, 2020 at the Gatehouse in Williamsport, PA.
Born on December 6, 1930 in Tarreytown, NY. He was the son of the late Alton and Edna Price.
He was married to Livia L. (Serra) Price on April 10, 1958, who survives in Renovo, PA.
Bucky, was preceded in death by daughter Laura M. (Price) married to Patrick J. Smith. He was preceded in death by his brother William H. Warren Jr. married to Linda Warren.
“Bucky” is survived by his wife and children Tanya (Price) Tom Bruno, Cross Fork, Pa, Sharon (Price) Dave Porlier, Massachusetts, Judy (Price) Ed Wadleigh, Massachusetts. He is also survived by his sister in law, Gloria A. Sweitzer. He has many grandchildren and great grandchildren and he loved them all. His grandchildren Timothy Emerick, Olivia Bruno, Patrick Smith, Christian Spencer, Collin Spencer and Aleigha Goetz, could always count on their “biggest fan” supporting them in the stands of every sporting event. He was well known for his own skills on the basketball court himself. He loved every sport out there, which some probably remember him being at the games cheering them on, Bucktail’s #1 fan.
He was blessed later in life with many half sisters and half brothers. He loved them all.
He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by a 3 sisters Margaret Lee Moriarty and her husband Francis, Elizabeth “Betty” Warren and husband Howard and Dorothy and her husband Dr. Richard Aspen.
“Bucky” was a graduate of Renovo High School in 1949. He served in the U.S Navy in 1950’s. He was a Journeyman/Pipefitter for Local Union 798, Tulsa Oklahoma. He loved his trade and worked many years throughout the U.S., including the Alaskan Pipeline. He retired in 1992.
He was a member of the St. Joseph’s Church in Renovo, Pa.
He loved hunting, fishing, his work and his later years, watching Tv. He loved his family and friends.
He will be deeply missed by so many.
