William M. Showers

William M. Showers, 62, of Weikert passed away Monday, May 4, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna Williamsport where he was a patient 7 days.

Born February 12, 1958 in Lewisburg he was the son of the late William A. Showers who died in 2014 and Carolyn K. (Kunkle) Showers of Lewisburg.

He worked at Union County Sportsmen’s Club in Millmont as a bookkeeper, treasurer and past president. He also worked at Hillside Campgrounds in Gibson as a manager.

Bill loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, skiing and especially camping.

Surviving are his mother, a son Jason M. (fiancé Sarah Burger) Showers of Danville and a daughter Lindsey R. (Steve) McAnnaney of West Milton.

Two granddaughters, Aunalee and Livianna.

Also surviving are a brother James Showers of New Columbia and a sister Sharon Showers of Middleburg.

A Celebration of Life Service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
